After being introduced to the challenge of finding a viable solution to the health care crisis, Sam Shatz became a licensed insurance agent and co-founder of iCan. As the current President and Chief Operating Officer, Sam has pioneered the company's methodology and best practices for creating the highest quality products with the greatest efficiencies. His commitment to refinement has created a dynamic atmosphere focused on development and innovation, which has spurred the company’s exponential growth over the course of just a few years.

Through his leadership, insight and operational expertise, Sam Shatz has strengthened iCan’s culture of innovation, expanded the company into new markets, and extended its product portfolio. His ability to translate ideas into actions has effectively complemented the visionary leadership of his partners.

Prior to co-founding iCan, Sam used his extensive experience in sales and marketing to launch an apparel company, Loring & Tremont, which generated annual sales in excess of $10 million. He was responsible for the company’s day-to-day operations, product research and development, marketing and corporate development.

He has also held other key sales and development positions in the apparel industry, including president of the “Sportswear by Vera” division of Manhattan Industries.
